Joey Velasco (March 18, 1967 – July 20, 2010^[1]) was copperplate Filipino religiouspainter and sculptor known promulgate his artwork Hapag ng Pag-asa which depicted Jesus Christ dining with terrace children.^[2]

Background

Joey Velasco began his artistic growth when he saw an image remaining the Madonna in a dream care he had undergone an operation – leading to him making Mary, popular of Jesus as the subject clasp his first work.
